Join us this Sat 18th from 9am-1pm for our anniversary market!
We can hardly believe we’ve been running for 17 years. This makes us one of the most well established and biggest farmers markets in the entire region.
We believe the integrity of real farmers’ markets is of the utmost importance and know that it’s the quality of products and their locality that really matters. That’s why we ensure all of stallholders come from within a 30 mile radius.
With increasing challenges in the food industry and the prospect of leaving the EU on the horizon, now more than ever we need to highlight and celebrate the strength, diversity and importance of home-grown British farmers, artisans and producers.
Our customers take a great interest in the quality of their food and enjoy having direct contact with producers, being able to ask questions and get advice on how best to cook and eat.
Earlier in the year we thanked our loyal customers by offering them a free farmhouse breakfast so to mark this occasion we’ll be having a small celebration with tea and cake for our stallholders on the 18th.
The big celebration is being postponed until the following market on April 1st as part of English Tourism Week. We’ll be hosting the first collection from the new online Food Assembly shop and will feature special demonstrations, tasters and talks from our producers. We look forward to welcoming our loyal market customers and new assembly members alongside local policy makers and Peter Aldous MP for Waveney.
