Hope you all enjoyed your Bank Holiday with lots of fun in the sun! After a busy half term its time to restock the shelves with some fresh high-quality local produce. A great big thanks to all of you who supported us at the Beccles Food & Drink Festival last weekend, we’re also proud to announce that DJ Barnard’s Lamb came 2nd in the Battle of the Bangers and to celebrate not only this achievement but also British Lamb week we will be having extra events and activities for you to join in!
We are celebrating with a selection of lambs tasters, courtesy of DJ Barnard’s, alongside wool spinning demos, a lamb naming competition and a raffle to win a prize hamper worth £30. So come down and have some fun in a rare chance to get involved with your food supply and have a chance to talk to real farmers and artisans who are passionate to share their craft with you. Just don’t forget the 25+ other stalls that will be in attendance with farm fresh, handcrafted artisan foods and wares.
This Saturday 1st June Beccles Farmers Market will be open from 9am – 1pm with a wide range of products all grown or produced within a 30mile radius!
