Market This Saturday 18th April

The safety of our customers and stallholders is always our priority which is why we will be holding a reduced Market on Saturday 18th April with only food producers (+soap) in attendance. Please note other additional measures outlined below. If the situation changes we will update you accordingly. Thanks for your support in these challenging times.

We have implemented some relatively substantial changes to the way the market operates to ensure it can continue to do safely and effectively. These include; no entry prior to 9am, restricted number of people in the space at any one time, a one-way system and rearranged layout, no hot food or cafe area, only food stalls permitted to attend, restrictions on bulk buying at the stallholders discretion. Volunteers will be on hand in high-vis jackets should you have any questions on that day. Many stalls are taking pre-orders over the phone and can arrange for local deliveries on a case by case basis.

Each market we run is carefully considered and planned to best support the community we have served for the past 20 years, we choose to remain open as we feel we have taken adequate precautions to continue safely. This market is a vital lifeline for many customers and producers and during a time filled with uncertainty it provides a valuable income and forms part of the local food supply network. For now we plan to keep running as long as we are able to safely provide this valuable service.

The Egg Stall will be in attendance this week and we would like to apologise to anyone who missed their purchase from the stalls late arrival last time due to unforeseen circumstances.

This weeks stallholders:

This Saturday 18th April Beccles Farmers Market will be open from 9am – 1pm with products all grown or produced within a 30 mile radius! We have ample parking including disabled spaces – but sorry no cash machines – no dogs, other than guide dogs.
