*** OPEN THIS WEEKEND ***
As of Thursday the 5th November the country is going back into a national lockdown and as such we will once again be operating within government guidelines to keep everyone safe. The market will be open at normal times but once again we are closing the café area and we are limited to essential stalls only, this includes stalls which provide food and drink as well as other essential items such as soap. Last time we went into lockdown we operated a safe market which supported local businesses throughout a trying time and the same restrictions will be applied again. Although the market does not provide an online service many of our producers have their own systems in place so please contact them directly for more options. We hope everyone continues to attend the market as a way to help support the local economy and that you all stay safe in these difficult times.
Lockdown Market Guidelines:
- No entry before 9am
- One way system – entry only through front door
- No café area or hot food being sold
- Limited stallholders – stalls which don’t provide a necessary service won’t be attending
- Restrictions on bulk buying
- If it gets too busy we will enforce staggered entry so you may need to queue (at a safe distance)
- There will be volunteers in UV jackets to help with any queries and issues on site
- Wear protective equipment when inside the market and please sanitise regularly
If you have any questions or concerns please message us on our Facebook page so we can respond.
